Tesis inédita de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Facultad de Ciencias Matemáticas, Departamento de Análisis Matemático y Matemática Aplicada, leÃda el 28-09-2021The title of this dissertation encompasses the study of two disparate topics that have been worked on. All the results that have been obtained in this dissertation, as the fruit of three years of tedious work, are related to the following fields within Mathematical Analysis: • Algebraic genericity and lineability: This is the study of the algebraic structure within certain sets in a linear space or an algebra. In this sense, we study lineability and algebrability problems of sequences spaces and series. Just as, for the class of real singular functions on the unit interval. This topich as shown to be extremely fruitful in the last decade and this resulted in the American Mathematical Society introducing references 15A03 : Vector spaces, linear dependence, rank, lineability.46B87 : Lineability in functional analysis.in its latest Mathematical Subject Classification 2020...El tÃtulo de esta tesis engloba el estudio de dos temas fundamentales en los que se ha trabajado en los últimos años. Software Perfomance Assessment at Architectural Level: A Methodology and its Application
Performance assessment of an architecture with adaptative interfaces for people with special needs
People in industrial societies carry more and more portable electronic devices (e.g., smartphone or console) with some kind of wireles connectivity support. Interaction with auto-discovered target devices present in the environment (e.g., the air conditioning of a hotel) is not so easy since devices may provide inaccessible user interfaces
(e.g., in a foreign language that the user cannot
understand). Scalability for multiple concurrent users and response times are still problems in this domain. In this paper, we assess an interoperable architecture, which enables interaction between people with some kind of special need and their environment. The assessment, based on performance patterns and antipatterns, tries to detect
performance issues and also tries to enhance the architecture design for improving system performance. As a result of the assessment, the initial design changed substantially. We refactorized the design according to the Fast Path pattern and The Ramp antipattern. Moreover,
resources were correctly allocated. Finally, the required response time was fulfilled in all system scenarios. For a specific scenario, response time was reduced from 60 seconds to less than 6 seconds
Nutraceutical profiles of apricots (Prunus armeniaca L.) as a source of fruit quality traits for breeding
Aim of study: In a social context of increasing concern about healthy diets, the development of new varieties with enhanced content in nutraceutical compounds is an important objective of the fruit breeding programs currently developed. In this sense, apricot is a fruit crop very appreciated by consumers worldwide due to its organoleptic characteristics, but also plays an important role in human nutrition due to its content of phytocompounds as sugars, organic acids, vitamins and polyphenols.
Area of study: The identification of sources of variation for these traits could be useful for apricot breeding worldwide.
Material and methods: New selections from the apricot breeding program carried out at the Instituto Valenciano de Investigaciones Agrarias (IVIA, Spain) and traditional varieties have been analysed aimed at identifying sources of genetic variation for fruit quality. For this purpose, sugar content, organic acids and ascorbic acid were studied during three crop years.
Main results: Results revealed sucrose and glucose as the major sugars, malic and citric acid as the main organic acids, and diverse ascorbic acid content among the cultivars studied.
Research highlights: Some accessions point as potential sources to increase fruit quality. In addition, the study showed that apricot peel is an excellent source of nutraceutical compounds. Moreover, this study opens up new possibilities to study the genetic control of these traits in apricot in the future

Social and cognitive determinants in entrepreneurial interest: an exploratory study among argentine students
In this paper we analyze the intentions in creating a business on the part of a group of Argentine students in Strategic Human Resources Management in the University of Buenos Aires. The results of the study show that these students want to create their own business, but their possibilities depend on several factors. Among all of them, self-efficacy stands out; those students who show more self-efficacy are those who demonstrate more intention for creating a business. This intention is minor for the students who possess more social support. Neither family charges nor previous experience in entrepreneurship have a significant effect.Entrepreneruship, cognitive factors, social factors.
How do entrepreneurial firms manage human resources? The REDUR case
This paper analyzes the human resources management in a familiar and entrepreneurial company, REDUR. Specifically, it is analyzed the characteristics and the main problems of the human resources area along the company’s cycle of life. Nowadays, REDUR is in the growth stage. The work shows that the human resources management goes becoming more formal and that formation and selection are the most important practices. Exactly, in which refers to these practices, they use graphology, as technique to select personal, and they consider especially important the socialization. The reason can be that businesses in growth emphasize person-organization fit.Familiar businesses, entrepreneurship, human resource management and cycle of life.
Biomonitoring of organic pollutants in pet dog plasma samples in North-Western Spain
Financiado para publicación en acceso aberto: Universidade de Vigo/CISUGMost of organic pollutants (OPs) have the ability to interfere with biological systems causing negative effects in living
beings, including humans. In the last decades, pets have been used as bioindicators of human exposure because they
share the same habitat with their homeowners. We sought to determine levels of approximately 70 OPs, including
polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), organochlorine pesticides (OCPs), polybrominated biphenyl ethers (PBDEs), organophosphate
pesticides (OPPs), polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and pyrethroids (PYRs) in plasma samples
from 39 pet dogs from Ourense (north-western Spain). The results revealed that PAHs were the dominant OPs
(mean value 175 ± 319 ng/g lipid weight (lw)), followed by PYRs (132 ± 352 ng/g lw), PCBs (122 ± 96 ng/g
lw), OCPs (33 ± 17 ng/g lw), PBDEs (19 ± 18 ng/g lw) and OPPs (2.1 ± 2.7 ng/g lw) in plasma samples. We
have previously detected the target OPs in hair samples of pets, collected simultaneously and similar trend of some
OPs has been observed. Moreover, pyrene and chrysene showed correlations between levels detected in both matricesXunta de Galicia | Ref. GRC-ED431C 2022/3
Lifted structural invariant analysis of Petri net product lines
Petri nets are commonly used to represent concurrent systems. However, they lack support
for modelling and analysing system families, like variants of controllers, different variations
of a process model, or the possible configurations of a flexible assembly line.
To facilitate modelling potentially large collections of similar systems, in this paper, we
enrich Petri nets with variability mechanisms based on product line engineering. Moreover,
we present methods for the efficient analysis of the place and transition invariants in
all defined versions of a Petri net. Efficiency is achieved by analysing the system family
as a whole, instead of analysing each possible net variant separately. For this purpose,
we lift the notion of incidence matrix to the product line level, and rely on constraint
solving techniques. We present tool support and evaluate the benefits of our techniques
on synthetic and realistic examples, achieving in some cases speed-ups of two orders of
magnitude with respect to analysing each net variant separatelyThis work has been funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science (PID2021-122270OB-I00) and the R&D
